Title: Essential Questions – Why You Should Be More Concerned With EQ’s Than IQ’s at Your School (Helping teachers realize the value of using Essential Questions and teaching them how to develop and use them effectively.)

Title: Curriculum Mapping  (Considering the value of mapping, how to decide categories, steps for multi-year process of developing mapping at your school, as well as identifying best tools to use to make mapping practical and possible. Dan is a consulting partner with the Curriculum4Schools software mapping program.)

Classroom
Title: Classroom Behavior Management  (How can teachers set up their classroom and year for success? Time to Teach is an incredibly effective behavior change program that is based on unconditional positive regard for students. Dan is a certified trainer for this program.)

Title: Evaluating Teachers for Professional Growth: Creating a Culture of Motivation and Learning  (Dan authored a
professional book on teacher evaluation that was published by Corwin Press in 2000 with this title – he has made multiple presentations of this material around leadership, teacher evaluation and staff development.)

Technology

Title: Title: Google in Their Pocket: Using Tech to Teach Toward Wisdom - How are we feeling/thinking about tech change? How does using tech as a tool change change how teaching and learning is delivered? What are models that help us move forward? This presentation attempts to embody a 21st Century pedagogical approach and can be done in a one day or two day time frame.
